Lakeshore Shepherds will refund the purchase price of a puppy within the first 48 hours after sale if the puppy is returned in the same condition as it left.
All of our puppys have been thoroghly examined by our veterinarian before leaving our facility and come with a health certificate, shot and worming records.
Lakeshore Shepherds hip guarantee is replacement puppy only. Unlike most "kennels" Lakeshore Shepherds does not require the return of the dysplastic dog. I think most of us can agree very few people would want to give up the pet they have loved for two years. While Lakeshore Shepherds has never had a hip problem, this does not mean it cannot occur. As some of the more experienced breeders will agree genetics only play a 30% role in the development of dysplasia. 70% is left for the owner to assume responsibility for. The proper diet and excercise can greatly reduce the chance of this ever happening to a young dog. It is very important to keep a young dog ( 8 weeks to 12 months) from jumping and long running.
